Barn Street Designs Joins the Fight Against Cancer

The leaves are changing, the temperature is dropping, and pumpkin spice everything fills the stores- it’s October once again! While October is known for many things, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer.  

This year Barn Street Designs is joining the fight against cancer. We are proud to share a letter detailing our commitment written by Barn Street Designs president, Bethany Wysolmerski. Please read below:

 

"Raising awareness and money for cancer research has always been a family priority at Barn Street Designs, and we are dedicated to showing our continued support to all affected by cancer. 

Like many families that have been affected, ours has endured the loss of family members - but we have also had the joy of celebrating the success of treatments.This year we celebrated my 85-year-old grandmother, fighting and beating a triple negative breast cancer diagnosis- a bittersweet victory that marked the 15th anniversary of losing her oldest daughter to the disease.

During the month of October, Barn Street Designs will be donating all proceeds from purchases of our new Pink Collection to the American Cancer Society. In addition, 15% of the proceeds from orders placed throughout the year will be donated as we continue to support and honor those affected by cancer. 

It is our hope and prayer that this disease will be eradicated, but in the meantime, we are here to support the fighters, admire the survivors, and remember the angels."
